I’m sick, now what?

If you are sick, in bed, desperate, and you pray, talk to God, and still do not know what to do pay attention:

“Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.” (John 9: 1-3)

Maybe you’re in bed, wondering what sin you have committed or what you did to be in this situation which has made you bitter and sad and you say: “I have spoken with God, but the situation has worsened, the more I pray, the more problems appears.” This is what many people say.

In order to receive healing, deliverance and a miracle you must conquer them!

But before we move forward it is important to say that there are health problems that are of spiritual origin: resulting from witchcraft, a hereditary evil, etc. And others are physical, which result from carelessness or lack of care, such as an improper diet.

You should always go to the doctor, get examined, take the prescribed medication, and recover well. Because sometimes, you have gone beyond your body’s limit, and it’s only that: a body. It requires a proper nutrition, rest, physical exercise, and other important care.

A health problem is an opportunity to exercise your faith. It is not a matter of having sinned or done wrong, or whether it was inherited from your parents, etc., but for the Work of God to manifest in your life.

It is not a reason to murmur, question, look back, be sad, or make yourself as the victim because none of this resolves anything.

Meanwhile the disciples were asking questions the man remained the same. So we should not be trying to find answers, but do what must be done!

I do not know what your case is, but you should take the steps needed to put your faith in action. The Lord Jesus took upon Himself all our infirmities. When you participate in the Lord’s Supper, make a prayer in the Church, use your faith at home or wherever you are, and you do it with determination and believe you will get the answer!

But perhaps when you are out of the environment of faith you do not believe in your healing and remain sick. You speak to God one-way and act another. You do not continue in the faith and do not pursue your healing. In other words: You want one thing and act the opposite of what you to profess.

Faith does not work that way. We must be firm in what we determine whether it is a physical or spiritual problem. Stop murmuring and saying that you cannot do it and looking at yourself as a victim, solve the problem! Get up and leave the negative words behind and start speaking positively.

What do you say? Will you act on your faith and take the appropriate action? Reveal to God your faith and the certainty that He has heard your prayer and has healed you. Otherwise, you will reap the consequences of a faith with doubt. Look forward and react in a positive way.

Maybe you are used to hearing messages of faith, and praying, however you still remain prostrated. You are responsible for your life! And you are reaping the fruits of your doubts, which have weakened and made you look at the circumstances. Do not continue being this way manifest your faith.

  3. Thank you for your message.
    It helped me a lot.
I am in the church since 2007 and I have been blessed in many areas. Unfortunately, I had faith to conquer material blessings but not to change.
By the mercy of God, I have finally realised and received the Holy Spirit this month.
But now, I started to invest in my spiritual life and to become a woman after God’s own heart, which is great, of course, but I am not using my faith in the other areas of my life. I started to believe that only because I obey the Word and invest in my character, god will provide. I compare myself with other women of faith, who belongs to churches where miracles and faith as we know are nor preached, and this makes me weak and see no blessings. I don’t faith as I used to. Sometimes makes me believe that I don’t need to fight Satan because I obey and is enough…
I’ve just realised how wrong I am!
I remember bishop Macedo saying that only through fights he has conquered, that nothing has been received by “God will provide”. He had to revolt and fight. And this spirit of revolt keeps him strong. When he is not fighting, he gets weak. When i’m writing to you, God speaks to me through the bishop’s words I’ve heard a while ago.
Those moments of peace, with no fight, made David fall in sin. When he was busy fighting the enemy, kept his faith alive.
There is a fight against hell till the end. Satan wants to make us blind. To become religious. But God said that the one who gives, receives. So, if I don’t receive, I must DEMAND.
If I don’t pay my mortgage, they’ll demand payment from me. This is what’s happening in an agreement between two parts…

Thank you. This really revived my faith.
    God bless you!

    1. Hello,

I thank God for this message and Ms. Vivi for giving ears and sharing. Mariana, I agree with you as there were moments that I felt like that too. Like there was no need to fight and that because I was obeying it sufficed. When I got into an incident with my health a weeks ago I felt it as a wake up to my faith, as God showed me how necessary it is to take care of every single part of my life mind (soul), body and spirit as I am the temple of God and it needs constant care. Just as the word says faith without action is dead. Though we may have faith, if we don’t act it the result is death in the aspects of our lives we don’t act it in.
