Health : Taking care of the Temple

Many people after they convert to God don’t worry about going to the doctor for their annual checkups anymore.
They think that because they live by faith they don’t need to anymore they say, “It’s tied up! Going to the Doctor is not for me! ”
Well, today I will contradict some people…
We are body, soul and spirit. Each one is unique, all three are precious and each one must have a special care in order for all of them to develop properly.
Our body is made up of the flesh, bones, organs, joints, ligaments, etc. and all require a special “maintenance.” The purpose of getting a check-up is to prevent diseases by getting tested early. It’s also so we can be aware of the state of our health and how to improve our quality of life.
For example: If you have a car, you can’t use it forever without maintaining it by taking it for check-ups to see what needs to be replaced or fixed. But, if you don’t your car won’t last long.
The “funny” thing or rather the saddest thing is that many take care of their car, but don’t take care of their own body.
I affirm that now that we live by faith we need to especially care for our bodies, health and wellness, because we are dwelling of the Holy Spirit. Let your body always be “clean”, pretty and well taken care of in every way for Him. What an honor!
Have you already had your annual check-up this year?
PS: I suggest for you to keep all your test results in a folder. This will be very useful for you and your doctor. This is what I do

That is being religious and that is not wise at all.
