Facing a challenge

We usually always like what is normal, easy, and predictable. We like to be in our comfort zone, and do our will.
But when we least expect it (or want) a challenge comes along. One that takes us out of our comfort zone and puts us in an unpredictable position, which makes us feel embarrassed most of the time. We don’t feel good because it’s not our “area” of expertise.
What to do in this situation???
Challenges make us grow and strengthen our weakness.
Normally we have a tendency to develop what is already good in us, and try to hide our weakness in hope of forgetting about them.
But for those who are revolted, who don’t accept being mediocre in character and want to grow every day, challenges are great opportunities to mature and improve as a person.
How to face a challenge?
It’s not easy. At that moment thousands of feelings flair up and your head screams: “Give up!! You’ll never be able to do this. This is not for you!”
I confess that I too have often felt this way and therefore try to combat it with a weapon more powerful than my own thoughts and feelings: the Word of God.
One day King David, a young man at that time, was faced with a great challenge, perhaps the greatest that he had faced so far. And the way he reacted to this challenge serves as a lesson for me until today:
“Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” (I Samuel 17:45)
A challenge may be greater than our capacity, but CERTAINLY not greater than God!
We just have to take on the position in the battlefield, place these challenges in the hands of God and trust Him. We must do our part and never look back! He will be there to ensure that YOU overcome your challenges.

Amen Donna Viviane! We intend to close up or to refuse to face challenges and seek for ‘shortcuts’ or easy way. One thing that made me realized from this message is that God does require us to go through challenges for a reason; either to test our faith or see whether we are willingly to accept it. He didn’t just expect us to go through challenges but also to provide abilities to be overcome them. Challenges is something that everyone has to encounter and we often to forget that it is part of God’s tools to either mould or prepare us. Challenges are not just for coincidence but for a good cause!
I thank you for this message Donna.
God bless you more

l have learnt that the challenges are great opportunities for me to mature and improve as a woman of God.we are who we are today because of the challenges we faced in the past ,when we faced with a challenge we must trust in God knowing that he will always fight for us like he did with David ,when we don’t faces challenges we became very comfortable and relaxed, that’s why we have to keep an active faith at all times . the challenges that am facing they are not greater than my God

This message is very strong, thank you Mrs. Viviane. We sometimes forget to place our burdens in the hands of God, forgetting that He is more than capable of taking care of them (this I know). This blog brings confirmation that when challenges come I need not stress but I must be rest assured that my God will help me through, he will take care of me, all that’s needed is for me to trust in Him and let Him take His rightful place in my life. Thank you Mrs. Viviane.

Hello Mrs. Vivi,
All of us face challenges but it’s up to us how to face it and sometimes there are challenges that we can solve by our ownself but there are challenges that we use our intilligent faith by seeking the help of God. Many times if I done mistake I have the feeling of fear to face it but when i ask the guidance of our God i overcome the fear and face it. And it’s true if we don’t face challenges we don’t grow.
Thank you for sharing this strong message Dona.
