The program “Coisas de Mulher” (Things for Women) in England made me get very close to these “girls” in the photo. We went through a lot of exciting moments during the program. Each one was learning how to do the program; including me, who was the presenter!

It was not easy. There were many times where I went on the altar to speak to God; allowing me to evolve my faith and my dependence with in God.

Believe me, the harder it gets, the more lonely you feel. But it was better that way, because that is when I speak more to God and it is during those hours that I “discover” God in a more profound way : who He wants me to be and who I haven’t been yet. It elevated my faith and my dependency in Him. And it is marvelous!

The people that are around you end up learning as well because your actions speak to them, without them even realizing what is happening to you.

Do you know, even though you are living through there difficult situations, you become more sensitive to the needs of the people around you.

We end up making time, and a friendship blossoms. Why? Because you give. You don’t let the difficulties keep you from contributing. Of course, that only happens when you have the Holy Spirit. You give, even if you need to receive.

Your surroundings become favorable because your behavior involves faith.

The “Coisas de Mulher” program added so many things to my life… and only because I did it to serve those who needed a word.

As well as learning, I gained friends that I will never forget. I gained viewers that also became friends. I don’t know them, but in some way, the program helped their life.

And the “butterflies” in my stomach went away.
The nervousness passed…
With time, I gained more experience.

And when I had to leave the program, I missed it because it made me evolve in a way that I would have never done if I had tried by myself.

All I do is give thanks to God for all the opportunities that He has given me.

And you? Do you see these challenges like something you have to overcome or as something humiliating? Or do you see it as an opportunity to exercise your faith?

With certainty, your behavior will speak about the faith you profess.

  4. Thank you for sharing, I remember I used to feel like that when I was told I would be working with the youth because I thought to myself how was I going to cope with it all. But today I can say it has been the greatest blessing in my life because it helped me grow in leaps and bounds in my spiritual life, and pushed me right out of my comfort zone.
