Beauty : I hated Ponchos

Hello ladies when I was younger I hated when my mother used to send me go to school with a poncho in the middle of winter when I lived in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

It was blue with wool fringes and dots hanging down, ahhhh. If only back then they were as beautiful as the ponchos they sell today (which are not too expensive) I would’ve been so happy. LOL Ponchos and cover ups (yes, that’s what some versions of ponchos are called)

They are a great option to break from the routine of wearing a jacket. But, before you purchase one, you have to try it on to make sure it’s not too big on you, and doesn’t add to much volume to your shape. It can be rectangular, squared or rounded up with printed patterns.

How to use it: if the Poncho is shorter you can combine it with skirts, if the poncho is longer than you can wear it with skinny jeans or leggings.

You should wear single or darker colors under so that it gives you a slimmer look. If you live in a country with tropical weather and do not plan on traveling to a cool place then you can invest in a silk, lace or cotton poncho.

Pocho comprido

I suggest that you don’t use crocheted or flowered ponchos because then it’ll look like you went digging through your childhood clothes. Today, I love to wear them! Be inspired by the photos.
