Assistants : Assistants who are like Cain

I read almost all the comments left on last week’s post, in which we spoke about the thing that enslaves us the most: FEELINGS, and unfortunately I could see that even after speaking on this topic there are still many people who do not understand how to be from free this emotional prison.

For example, this week I met with an Assistant, which was facing a situation where she was being completely controlled by her feelings. And worst of all, this had created deep roots inside of her, which were naturally influencing her behavior and hence all areas of her life were being affected. All because she was carried away by malicious comments and began to look at those who warned her about her state with eyes contrary to those of the faith. She had a heavy load inside and it showed on her face, because that is what happens when we give space to unhealthy things.

I don’t give these examples to criticize or expose anyone, for that reason I don’t mention names, but I give them to make it clear on how we let our heart speak louder.

I would like you to think about what God said to Cain. This “story” is old, but unfortunately, nowadays, it repeats itself. However, the guidance of God is perfect and does not fail. When we follow It with Intelligent Faith It allows us to be free from sin.

Notice what is written in Genesis 4: 6-7

“So the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?”

When we are full of “emotion”, what is our tendency? It’s to become more aggressive, impulsive, bad tempered, discouraged, with our countenance literally fallen.
Isn’t this true?

But notice what God’s VISION is:

“If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it?”

The truth is that if we do well, which means not just being charitable or “nice”, but above all to act in righteousness, with reason and not with feelings that only make us sin, then we will be accepted naturally by God and men. Once again we see emphasized that every day and all the time our feelings are at the door, but we must rule over them.

I want you to know that this Word is like the sound of a trumpet in my life that alerts me whenever my feelings try to take over.

Be careful Assistants so you do not become like Cain, who gets carried away by your own will to the point where there is no longer a solution to your spiritual state even within the living work of God, like Cain.

What do you have to say about today’s Post? Have you found yourself this way, unable to master your own instincts?

  2. Thank you Mrs. Viviane! For sometimes when I face problems I allow my emotions to control me instead of using my faith to fight all the problem but from today on I wont allow my emotions to overcome me but instead I will rule over them.
