When we hide ourselves from our mistakes, we also saying to God I don’t need your help, I can take care of this by my self, while God is saying I forgive, you need to carry this load, this garbage or this feeling of guilt inside anymore.

Many times I have tried to use physical things sto replace my spiritual relationship with God but I realize that God doesn’t want us to do physical things to replace our relationship with Him but He wants us to be honest, He wants us to thirst and be hungry for Him.
