Tornare in Spagna era, in un certo modo, tornare al mondo che ero già abituata, ma lasciare l’Inghilterra era come fermare il tempo. Avevo coscienza che l’Opera di Dio poteva essere fatta in qualsiasi luogo, ma in quel momento, sentivo come se fossi ferma nel mio ministero.
Anche se mi piaceva molto la Spagna, le mogli di lì, dell’ambiente e molto di più, è stato molto difficile per me. Non mi conformavo di fare il mio trattamento fuori dal luogo dove sono stata scelta di stare.
Sapevo che mi trovavo lì per una necessità più grande, ma solo mi domandavo: “E il Programma Cose di Donna? Come sarebbe stato con i tanti progetti?”.
Proprio così, nelle prime settimane sono dovuta assentarmi dalle registrazioni, e le mogli di Inghilterra dovevano continuare il Programma. Siamo state tutte colte di sorpresa!
Sono andata a fare il trattamento in un luogo vicino a dove stavo vivendo, ma ero totalmente insoddisfatta con la mia situazione. Il nuovo medico criticava il trattamento che stavo facendo e mi aveva messo in dubbio. Avevo deciso, quindi, di avere una terza opinione, che non è stata di aiuto. L’altro medico voleva fermare il mio trattamento e trattare di una cosa che non c’entrava con l’allergia.
Il tempo passava e l’ansietà mi stava invadendo. Mi sentivo come se disturbassi l’Opera di Dio. Tutto mi contrariava.
Avevo iniziato a fare il Programma con una nuova squadra, in Spagna. Ma, anche se tentavo di fare il programma da là, qualcosa andava sempre male. Era incredibile! Ho registrato non so quanti programmi, e solo 1 è andato in onda. Questo contribuiva con le mormorazioni dentro di me. Mi arrabbiavo sempre di più, sentivo che tutto era bloccato.
Anche così, la mia allegria era di stare con le mogli. Ci divertivamo molto registrando, com’è stato il giorno che abbiamo fatto una gita turistica in Madrid, per il Programma. Ho vissuto 4 anni là ed era la prima volta che facevo turismo in quella meravigliosa città. Non mi sono mai interessata in conoscere luogo, poiché per me, l’opera era già sufficiente per divertirmi.
In quella fase che tante cose mi contrariavamo, cercavo di attaccarmi a quei bei momenti. Ma il meglio stava per arrivare: Stava arrivando la Campagna di Israele!
