La fede ci muove, non ci fa paragonare, nemmeno guardare chi fa o chi non fa.
Essa è una certezza che ti porta pace e convinzione di cose che si aspettano. Così mi trovavo io nella mia fede. Rafforzata! L’esperienza di vita ci insegna a vivere la fede, della quale normalmente abbiamo solo coscienza. Essa passa da coscienza, a vita.
E sai un’altra cosa che rivela la fede viva e intelligente mossa dalla certezza? È il fatto di non lamentarsi. È vedere l’opportunità e rallegrarsi con quello che Dio ti ha dato.
Un esempio di questo, accadeva molto in California. Prima che accada tutto quel dolore, mi lamentavo di dove vivevo, che tutto era distante, ecc.
Vi spiegherò quanto è grave lamentarsi.
Io, che sono sull’Altare di Dio, non ho opzione di scelta per niente. Devo sottomettermi a tutto quello che è diretto dalla direzione della Chiesa, anche essendo figlia del Vescovo Macedo. Poiché dopotutto, sono nella condizione di servire e non di essere servita.
Ma le mie mormorazioni, nei miei pensieri e persino pronunciate, erano un modo di non rispettare l’Opera di Dio. In altre parole, nel mio esteriore “accettavo” perché vivevo, ma in fondo, nel mio interiore, non accettavo quella situazione, dandomi il “lusso” di poter scegliere e anche dettare la mia volontà.
In realtà, Dio permette situazioni che non capiamo giustamente per lavorare in noi.
In altre parole, Lui ci chiama per servirLo, senza nessuna condizione, anche pieni di mancanze, per investire in noi.
E affinché Lui investa in noi, abbiamo bisogno di imparare le cose dalle sofferenze che viviamo. Lui lavoro con esclusività in noi. Bello, non è così?
È già, Dio lavorava in me mentre pensavo che servivo a Lui.
Dopo i dolori, le lotte, la mia fede diventò più solida. Più definita, più audace.
Non è perché diventi migliore degli altri, ma perché eserciti la tua credenza, questa ti porta ad un altro livello di fede, di esperienza con Dio.
Subito dopo questa fede viva, Julio è stato consacrato vescovo, in aprile del 1999. E in questo periodo, siamo stati inviati in una diversa missione, Julio rimase responsabile del lavoro in inglese a New York.
