In New York hatten wir die meisten Kämpfe bezüglich im Werk Gottes durchzustehen. Es ist alles andere als einfach im Werk Gottes in einem fremden Land zu dienen, das eine andere Kultur hat als die eigene.
Es gibt die unterschiedlichsten Kämpfe, die einem Mann- oder einer Frau Gottes begegnen.
Zuerst in seinem eigenen Sein. Als Mann Gottes, müssen die inneren Kämpfe und Schwierigkeiten besiegt werden. Ohne es zu zulassen sich beeinträchtigen zu lassen oder sich ablenken zu lassen. Darüber hinaus muss man sich selbst besiegen. Und man sollte sich spirituell gesehen, immer „lebendig“ halten, damit auch das Volk spirituell immer gut „genährt“ wird. Um die Fragen des Volkes zu beantworten, es zu segnen und um das Böse zu beseitigen.
Abhängig von der Verantwortung, die dem Pastor und seiner Ehefrau anvertraut wurde, dürfen sie nicht schwach werden. Das bedeutet, dass sie intensiv in der Beziehung mit Gott stehen müssen, um das tun zu können was getan werden muss. Er muss mit seinen Ohren auf die Stimme Gottes achten.
Und wenn der Pastor und seine Ehefrau noch jung sind, dann müssen sie in den großen Verantwortungen reifen.
Julio und ich waren noch sehr jung. Ich war noch nicht lange im Werk Gottes, aber Julio war schon länger als ich darin. Trotz dessen mussten wir lernen uns zu versöhnen.
Ich war ganz frisch verheiratet, als wir nach New York gingen. Ich sorgte mich sehr um die Ernährung von Julio. Denn er, sowie auch die anderen, arbeiteten sehr hart. Sie wachten um 6 Uhr früh auf, verließen das Haus um 7, damit sie um 8 oder 9 Uhr morgens in der Kirche sein konnten. Und sie blieben bis 22 oder 23 Uhr in der Kirche.
Meine Mutter war mir ein Vorbild, wie sehr wir uns um jemanden kümmern sollten, der in unserer Verantwortung steht. In diesem Fall war es nur Julio, um den ich mich kümmerte.
Also erwärmte ich das Essen, jedes Mal, wenn ich mit Julio in der Kirche war. Und sehr oft beschwerte Julio sich über das Essen, das ich von Zuhause mitbrachte. Und an einem bestimmten Tag beschwerte er sich über das Fleisch, weil es zu hart war etc.
Und ich zwang ihn es trotzdem zu essen. Denn das Leben im Werk Gottes lässt es nicht immer zu, dass das Essen frisch zubereitet werden kann. Und sehr oft ist die Alternative das Mitgebrachte.
Weißt du, alle verheirateten Männer möchten ein perfektes, köstliches Essen zubereitet bekommen. Denn weil er eine Ehefrau hat, hat er das Recht darauf es zu verlangen. Damals verstand ich das nicht. Ich dachte, dass Julio sich „stur stellte“ und manchmal begann ich zu weinen, damit er äße.
Es war wie in einem Film!
Die gleiche Scene spielte sich ab mit meiner Mutter, die mich und Chris umsorgte als wir Kinder waren! Chris und ich mochten damals als Kinder nicht gerne essen. Wie suchen immer Gründe dafür, damit wir nicht aßen.
Und an einem Tag sah mich der Bischof Renato, wie ich Julio versuchte zu essen zu zwingen. Und Julio reagierte aufgebracht wegen dem Essen und ließ es stehen.
Der Bischof Renato Maduro war auf Reisen und wies meinen Vater darauf hin, wie Julio mit mir umging. In der Sichtweise von Bischof Renato, hatte Julio mich schlecht behandelt. Doch dies war nicht der Fall. Ich war diejenige, die nie locker lies um ihn dazu zu bringen das zu akzeptieren was wir in dem Moment zu essen hatten.
Nun empfing ich einen Anruf meines Vaters, während der Reise dieses Bischofes. Er wies mich zurecht und sagte: “ Viviane, passe gut auf! Kein Mann kann es leiden, wenn die Frau ihn zwingen will etwas zu tun. Höre auf albern zu sein! Höre auf ihn zu zwingen zu essen! Lass ihn sich selbst darum kümmern! Schau, jetzt wird der Bischof Renato bald zurückkommen und den Julio „fertig machen“.“
Nie hatte mein Vater mich angerufen und mir gesagt, was geschehen würde. Doch diesmal war es so.
Und weil ich von dem „Erdbeben“ der uns erwartete schon bescheid wusste, fing ich an ein Gelübde zu Gott zu tun.
Ich sprach mit Gott mehr oder weniger dies: “ Gott, ich ertrage es nicht mehr zurechtgewiesen zu werden. Immer gibt es irgendetwas, was uns verfolgt! Ist das denn die Möglichkeit?! Jetzt wirst du Herr mir zuhören. Du wirst Dir anhören müssen, was ich zu sagen habe
Ich werde jetzt in lauter Stimme vorlesen, damit Du Herr, Dich an Deine Worte erinnerst. Ich werde es jeden Tag lesen: …Denn du liebst mich von ganzem Herzen, darum will ich dich retten…(Psalm 91,14)
Ab jetzt ist es Dein Problem Herr!
Mir ist egal, was passieren muss, das Problem ist Deines Herr!“
Ich sprach aus vollster Überzeugung. Ich wusste, dass ich versuchte ein heiliges Leben vor Gott zu führen, indem ich Ihm diente wie ich es fürs Beste hielt. Ich bewahrte immer mein Herz und meine Augen, etc. „Wie kann ich ein Leben führen, in dem Julio immer zurechtgewiesen wird? Herr, du musst mich aus dieser Situation befreien.“
Also tat ich diese Art von Gebet jeden Tag. Und ich las das Wort Gottes laut vor, damit er meine Einforderung hörte.
Der Bischof Renato kehrte von seiner Reise zurück und war auf Julio „zornig“. Er brannte darauf ihn zurechtzuweisen. Und in der ersten Versammlung der Pastoren, nach dem er wieder da war, sagte er unmissverständlich: “ Julio, ich bin hier, um dich fertig zu machen! Aber ich schaffe es nicht! Es kommt mir immer nur in den Sinn, was Viviane über dich gesagt hat!“
Er fragte mich etwas, bevor er auf Reisen ging und bevor mein Vater angerufen hatte. Ich erinnere mich nicht mehr was es war. Und ich wusste auch nicht, was in seinem Kopf vorging.
Ich habe noch nie in der Geschichte der Universal Kirche erlebt, dass es ein Geschehnis gab, in der ein Bischof mit vollster Bestimmtheit etwas tun wollte und sagte, dass er es nicht schaffte auszuführen!
Als ich hörte, wie der Bischof dies erwähnte, erhob ich die Hand um sprechen zu dürfen. Und er fragte mich: „Was ist denn Viviane?“
Und ich sagte: „Ich weiß, warum Sie es nicht über das Herz bringen den Julio „fertig“ zu machen! Ich bat Gott darum, dass Er mich befreit. Und das tut Er gerade!“ Ich glaube, dass der Bischof mich nicht verstand und setzte die Versammlung weiter fort.
Das war eine sehr prägende Erfahrung im Glauben.
Wenn man glaubt, wird es ausgeführt und man ist gehorsam.
Und wenn man gehorsam ist, hat man das Recht darauf das Versprechen einzufordern.
Und Gott liebt diese Art von Ehrlichkeit, denn Er sieht in uns den Glauben!!
