(SBOT).<\/p>\n<p>Con tan s\u00f3lo 20 minutos de ejercicio, el cerebro comienza a liberar endorfinas y serotonina, dos sustancias que motivan la comunicaci\u00f3n entre las neuronas. Mientras que las endorfinas tienen acci\u00f3n calmante y efecto analg\u00e9sico, la serotonina produce una sensaci\u00f3n de bienestar.<\/p>\n<p>Los estudios revelan que andar durante 40 minutos todos los d\u00edas es suficiente para mejorar el funcionamiento cardiovascular de las personas que sufren hipertensi\u00f3n. La pr\u00e1ctica regular ayuda a reducir los riesgos de c\u00e1ncer de col\u00f3n y, \u201csudar la camisa\u201d, ayuda a perder peso ya que reduce la inclinaci\u00f3n que algunos sienten por\u2026 \u00a1el chocolate!<\/p>\n<p> (American College of Sports Medicine \/ Universidad de Washington, en EUA \/ Universidad de Exeter, en Reino Unido)<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan David J. Stensel (Universidad de Loughborough, en Gran Breta\u00f1a), caminar regularmente interfiere en la producci\u00f3n de dos de las m\u00e1s importantes hormonas reguladoras del hambre: el  p\u00e9ptido YY (que reduce el apetito) y la grelina (que estimula el deseo de comer). El estudio mostr\u00f3 que, durante una sesi\u00f3n de \u201ccinta est\u00e1tica\u201d, el nivel de p\u00e9ptido YY aumenta y el de grelina, disminuye. Sin embargo, en el culturismo, estas tasas no se modifican.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00abCaminar es la \u00fanica actividad f\u00edsica totalmente gratuita. No hace falta gastar dinero con gimnasios o contratar un entrenador personal.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Es suficiente con vestir ropa ligera, usar zapatillas c\u00f3modas y elegir un lugar tranquilo para practicar. Preferentemente lejos del barullo y de la contaminaci\u00f3n del tr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Consejos<\/strong>: \u00abBaja del carro tres calles antes de lo deseado y contin\u00faa caminando. O sube cuatro pisos caminando en lugar  de en ascensor\u201d, sugiere Ravaglia, que \u00fanicamente desaconseja esta actividad para quien sufre artrosis: \u201cPara estos pacientes sugiero nataci\u00f3n o gimnasia acu\u00e1tica.
