\u201cWhen they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, \u201cSimon son of John, do you love me more than these?\u201d \u201cYes, Lord,\u201d he said, \u201cyou know that I love you.\u201d Jesus said, \u201cFeed my lambs.\u201d\u00a0Again Jesus said, \u201cSimon son of John, do you love me?\u201d He answered, \u201cYes, Lord, you know that I love you.\u201d Jesus said, \u201cTake care of my sheep.\u201d \u00a0The third time he said to him, \u201cSimon son of John, do you love me?\u201d Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, \u201cDo you love me?\u201d
\nHe said, \u201cLord, you know all things; you know that I love you.\u201d Jesus said, \u201cFeed my sheep.\u201d (John 21:15-17) <\/p>

\nWhich is the greatest proof of love that you can show to God, if it is not to take care of the lost sheep? <\/p>\n
We will talk about this issue because it was for this purpose that the Holy Spirit possessed our lives. <\/p>\n
The word shepherd has much to say about this issue. If we look up this word in the dictionary, we can see the
\ndepth of our service to God. It is much more than just being friendly, nice, well-speaker, loving, caring, etc; things that are undoubtedly important personal characteristics in an assistant and essential to reach people. However, the only thing that shows your love for the souls is your unconditional surrender.<\/p>\n
Notice what the word: \u2018Shepherd\u2019 means:<\/p>\n
Lead to pasture: Feed the flock<\/p>\n
– Feed, nurture.<\/p>\n

Indoctrinate: Teach, instruct.<\/p>\n
When can you feed someone who is suffering?<\/p>\n
When you feed at yourself first! Living a true faith, having a true relationship with God. And then, you will have all you need to help others and lead them to Salvation.<\/p>\n
When do you have conditions to help people?<\/p>\n
– When you are humble to hear God\u2019s voice and obey Him. That is when you have capacity to teach others. <\/p>\n
To be honest, you are the first sheep that have to be shepherd. If you are not saved, you will never be able to save souls. Do not forget that. Being like that, your attitudes are seen in practice naturally.<\/p>\n
In practice:<\/p>\n
You are attentive to the needs of the people in your Church.
\nYou are able to help them, going to meet them.<\/p>\n
Watching at those who are for the first time or have been far from the church in order to talk with them after the meeting.Being steady in the counseling.
\nWrite down the names of the people that you are counseling as a way to show that you assume that responsibility. During the meeting, look at people. Look if they are paying attention to the preach or not; so that you can counsel them later. Keep an eye on how people pray to understand if they are really given their life to God.
\nMetaphorically: You are a \u201cshepherd\u201d in constant surveillance.<\/p>\n
Have you observed the intensity of what Jesus expects from you? Today, He asks you the same question: \u2018Do
\nyou love Me?\u2019<\/p>\n
