It’s funny how some things happen and we aren\u2019t aware of them. <\/p>
\nI spent a good amount of time not seeing, or rather not realizing my fear. It was always there inside of me, but I never realized it.
\n
\nI acted as a thief without knowing it! I would only realize after the damage or loss at the end.<\/p>\n

Going to another country made \u200b\u200bme discover several different things, including things about myself. To work and live with strangers is not easy (I include my husband too, because we are newlyweds and there are aspects in him that I still don\u2019t know. Certain reactions, manners, customs, etc.)<\/p>\n

During my time here living with other people I discovered my fear, my biggest fear. Nobody likes to be reprimanded including me, but worse than being rebuked unfairly is when we are reprimanded because of a mistake committed. It was then that I realized that I feared making mistakes before people, authorities, my husband, myself and especially God.<\/p>\n

But since I’m not perfect, I realized that some errors are inevitable and they help me mature.<\/p>\n

I overcame my fear by facing it! I became bolder when it was time to speak, and do things, I did it without fearing I would make a mistake. I was rebuked a couple of times – to my delight – I learned from people who were willing to teach me, and not humiliate or harm me in any way.<\/p>\n

I was able to mature by making mistakes and correcting them.<\/p>\n

I remembered a saying that made me keep going and showed me that I was on the right track:<\/p>\n

“Those who fear making mistakes won\u2019t have the opportunity to make them right!”<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t want to be that type of person, so…<\/p>\n

If I\u2019m right or wrong I will only figure it out by taking risks, and not being proud. By being ready to learn, even if it\u2019s through my mistakes and after being reprimanded.<\/p>\n

The important thing is to always be ready to change!<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
