{"id":835,"date":"2013-12-12T11:15:37","date_gmt":"2013-12-12T11:15:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vivianefreitas.com\/en\/?p=835"},"modified":"2014-01-15T11:21:14","modified_gmt":"2014-01-15T11:21:14","slug":"hands-that-shed-innocent-blood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vivianefreitas.com\/en\/hands-that-shed-innocent-blood\/","title":{"rendered":"Hands that shed innocent blood?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My dear friends that have been following these articles wrote the following comment about last week&#8217;s post, &#8220;Why only assistants?<br \/>\nDoes the &#8220;hat&#8221; only fit them?<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Well, I would like to make it very clear once again, so it&#8217;s not forgotten by anyone- these posts are for all those who deep down want to live a correct life with God. To be more straight forward, they are for me too because everything I mention here relates to my spiritual life and above all for me to be more vigilant. Whoever doesn&#8217;t commit any sin cast the first stone. Isn&#8217;t that what Jesus said to those who wanted to condemn the prostitute? Let&#8217;s not act like the Pharisees thinking we don&#8217;t need to be warned. To say that God is with you, that you&#8217;re a assistant of God who will overcome, and further more are words that will not revolutionize your life because you&#8217;ve already heard all that. Be prudent and demand more of yourself in that sense!<\/p>\n<p>Let us continue to look within ourselves and find out what things we practice that God hates. Today we will talk about hands that shed innocent blood.<\/p>\n<p>Read Proverbs 6:16-19 again:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re probably already asking yourself: But, I&#8217;ve never killed anyone, how can I shed innocent blood?<\/p>\n<p>It does actually related to a violent act, but we can&#8217;t look at it only in the literal sense, we must go deeper. If we look deeply we can see that it&#8217;s mainly referring to committing an injustice.<\/p>\n<p>Note that the hands symbolize our actions. So, when is that a person can shed innocent blood?<\/p>\n<p>[bulletlist]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When you hear something about someone and you add on to it without examining the true facts ;<\/li>\n<li>When your intention is to harm other and wanting the worst for them;<\/li>\n<li>When you take no pleasure in seeing others become successful.<\/li>\n<li>When you&#8217;re always looking for others faults and defects;<\/li>\n<li>When you see your companion in danger and don&#8217;t warn them;<\/li>\n<li>When you know you have to tell the truth and you don&#8217;t.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/bulletlist]<\/p>\n<p>Surely these attitudes displease our God greatly, therefore correct them immediately don&#8217;t leave it for later.<\/p>\n<p>Review your life and eliminate these behaviors in your character.<br \/>\nHave you ever seen and analyzed this word in this way?
