“Seeing many things, but you do not observe…”<\/em> Isaiah 42:20<\/p>\n

There is a big difference between seeing and observing.<\/p>\n

When you just see you\u2019re simply using one of your senses: vision. It\u2019s something that comes naturally to any human being. But when you observe, it\u2019s something much deeper.
\n\u00a0
\nUnfortunately, I have noticed many Assistants lacking this, even amongst some who are frequently in the church and attend almost every meeting, in other words they “see many things.”<\/p>\n

When I asked some of them about what they understood of the word that was given on a certain day they couldn\u2019t answer me, and some couldn\u2019t even remember what was spoken that day, much less understand what God intended to speak to them. This is serious! As time goes by, the Assistants become more like “robots” and participate in meetings in a systematic way.<\/p>\n

Many even think to themselves:<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve heard this passage so many times; it\u2019s not meant for me. Or some because it became only a routine end up giving the message they heard to someone they counsel, or to someone they think need it. They never consider that the Word given was for them because they think they don\u2019t need it.<\/p>\n

Dear Assistants, God doesn\u2019t want you to become superficial. If you\u2019re the type of Assistant that is only \u201cseeing\u201d but not practicing the Word of God and submitting yourself to Him, you won\u2019t be able to transmit life to others. But the worst thing is that you\u2019ll be the type of Assistant that\u2019s always complaining and muttering that you don\u2019t see any fruits in your life, etc.

\nWhen searching for the meaning of the verb to observe in the Priberam Dictionary of the Portuguese Language I found:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00b7 Watching atentatively;
\n\u00b7 Examine;
\n\u00b7 Consider, Ponder;
\n\u00b7 Obey;
\n\u00b7 keep;
\n\u00b7 Comply faithfully;
\n\u00a0
\nThere is no need to give a big explanation on this!<\/p>\n

Let us be abundant in the Work of God; let\u2019s be profound observers, watchful, examining deeply, always pondering, and being obedient. But above all, Assistants, let\u2019s keep ourselves faithful to truth and justice.<\/p>\n

May God look at each one of us and say the opposite: “You don\u2019t see many things, but you observe”<\/p>\n
