This campaign of Israel for me has been different from all the campaigns that I\u2019ve participated in.<\/p>
\nIt was an opportunity God gave me to change my identity. I didn\u2019t want to participate in this campaign just to participate; I wanted God to speak to me, to tell me what He wanted me to do.
\n
\nI didn\u2019t want it to be just one more campaign that I participated in. While I was reading the Bible, He revealed this word to me:<\/p>\n

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, \u201cSurely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.\u201d<\/em> (Genesis 28:16)<\/p>\n

The fact that Jacob had awakened and recognized that God was in that place wasn\u2019t enough to change his life and much less his identity. He still had the same name that meant cheater, bad character, and a deceiver who was deceived by everyone.
\nA person can\u2019t receive a new identity by simply acknowledging that God exists and that He is in the church they attend, no! To get a new identity it\u2019s necessary to sacrifice, to completely detach yourself from everything and everyone, and to surrender completely and unconditionally to Him. After reading this word, a fire started burning inside me, I started to look inside myself to see what was missing, and I saw that I was limiting myself before what God had entrusted in my hands. I had already awakened and recognized this before, but I was missing the main thing. I always sacrificed, however, I always did it together with my husband, but this time I didn\u2019t wait for him, I went beyond what I normally always did. What I wanted couldn\u2019t wait; it had to be now, now it was my turn.<\/p>\n

Friends, we often go to a meeting, and participate in a campaign and even “sacrifice” but the evidence that it wasn\u2019t a true sacrifice is that you remain the same person with the same identity. Can you say that in this campaign you placed yourself inside the envelope along with your offering of sacrifice?
\nKnow that: TO AWAKE AND TO RECOGNIZE is only the first step, but is useless if we don\u2019t take action.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
