Hello! We are on Day 15 talking about Jacob\u2019s life.<\/p>
\n<\/p>\n

“… Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.\u00a0Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob\u2019s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him.”<\/em> (Gn.32: 24,25)
\n\u00a0
\nDay 15 \u2013 The power you have when you have a goal<\/strong>
\n\u00a0
\nWe can only be alone when we have a goal and a need to fight for it.
\nIt\u2019s no different when we fight for our rights, especially when we want to change our identity. If we believe in the Word of God, in what is written, then we\u2019ll fight for it to come true in our lives.
\n\u00a0
\nJacob did not want to \u201ctalk\u201d! He was ready to fight in order to resolve his issue.<\/p>\n

This reminds me of all the times I was defined in my faith, when I was all anyone with no one around. When I left my comfort zone, stopped doing whatever I was used to doing to be alone with God. I spoke to Him with definition about my vision and goal.
\n\u00a0
\nThat’s what Jacob did; he had to be alone in order to resolve his problem. Then God appeared to him! Not a man or an angel, but God.
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

When you are too busy, have no time, and are doing a thousand things at once, you will reach the point where you will loose focus on your goal and objective. You will have no strength to get out of your routine. You aren\u2019t focused and if you are, you are focused in something that will not bring the expected results.
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jacob knew what he wanted. He wanted to be the very blessing, like Abraham. And for that reason he wrestled with God!
\nIt wasn\u2019t without reason that God appeared to him, but because he couldn\u2019t take having the same identity anymore.
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

And there are people who hear us and are apparently fighting with God, but deep down they are still the same. They\u2019re not alone, even when they do something for God they do it in public for everyone to see.
\nWe don\u2019t see Jacob telling his family he wanted to be alone to talk to God. No! It\u2019s something personal you keep to yourself.
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

When we have a goal to reach in our lives we don\u2019t tell anyone what we\u2019re going to do. It\u2019s a revolt so great that we let go of our safety net and go into “battle”!
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

Not even God could prevent Jacob from reaching his goal, because he wasn\u2019t depending on circumstances or words but on his faith.
\nWhen a person wants to change because they recognize and are aware of their sin and mistakes, they will do anything it takes because they believe.
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

Its evident here that God has the power to exterminate us at any moment, except when we believe, give ourselves, and fight to reach our goal. When we take action without depending on anything or anyone.
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sacrifice is not only to give something that we like, but also to “pull the rug from under our feet”, which is what will ensure our future.
\nIf you surrender something that really materializes your belief in God, then it\u2019s impossible for Him not to bless you, because your showing strength and those who have a goal have STRENGTH!<\/p>\n
