\n“Then she gave the savory food and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob. So he went to his father and said, \u201cMy father.\u201d
\nAnd he said, \u201cHere I am. Who are you, my son?\u201d\u00a0Jacob said to his father, \u201cI am Esau your firstborn; I have done just as you told me; please arise, sit and eat of my game, that your soul may bless me.\u201d\u00a0But Isaac said to his son, \u201cHow is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?\u201d And he said, \u201cBecause the Lord your God brought it to me.\u201d\u00a0Isaac said to Jacob, \u201cPlease come near, that I may feel you, my son, whether you are really my son Esau or not.\u201d\u00a0So Jacob went near to Isaac his father, and he felt him and said, \u201cThe voice is Jacob\u2019s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.\u201d\u00a0And he did not recognize him, because his hands were hairy like his brother Esau\u2019s hands; so he blessed him. Then he said, \u201cAre you really my son Esau?\u201d He said, \u201cI am.\u201d\u00a0He said, \u201cBring it near to me, and I will eat of my son\u2019s game, so that my soul may bless you.\u201d So he brought it near to him, and he ate; and he brought him wine, and he drank.\u201d<\/em> (Gn.27: 17.25)

\nDay 5 – The Sacrifice<\/strong>
\n\u00a0
\nJacob had presented a supposed sacrifice, and continued to lie. First, he said that his name was Esau, and then said that God had sent him the game. If you notice, he lied, using God\u2019s name, and more than that, he said: “Because the Lord your God…” He said that because he was far from God, he didn\u2019t refer to God as my Lord. He wanted the birthright blessing, but he was far from it because he wasn\u2019t aware of how important it was to be the very blessing.
\n\u00a0
\nSacrifice is not something fast or automatic. Tell me, what can be done quickly and requires sacrifice? Nothing!
\n\u00a0
\nIf you\u2019re studying to become a lawyer, will it happen in one day? No!
\n\u00a0
\nSacrifice requires time. Not just a few hours, it\u2019s an investment; you must dedicate yourself to achieve your goals.
\nPreparation is needed and you are required to give yourself completely. Sacrifice is not something that can be done fast, it demands time, lots of it. You must use the “weapons” that you have to “hunt” game and “cook” it. In other words use our faith in God, take risks to find what we want, and make the sacrifice, we must live that faith.
\n\u00a0
\nAbove all, we can\u2019t present just anything. The food must be “savory” like when we give a gift to someone. Our sacrifice represents who we are, therefore, it can\u2019t be done in any way.
\n\u00a0
\n“I’ll give all my salary, and that’s it!” “I’ll give this or that, and that\u2019s it!” It’s not that simple. You must prepare and give yourself completely. It\u2019s not based on what you think, but it\u2019s a result of rational thinking: “Is what I’m offering truly the best that I have to offer?”
\n\u00a0
\nThis is exactly what sacrifice means, when you show the consideration you have and how much you value what ever it is you intend to conquer.
\n\u00a0
\nWell, my friend, think and reflect on this aspect of your sacrifice, so that you may not present it in any way.
\n\u00a0
\nMaybe, for many years, you have presented your sacrifice but God hasn\u2019t approved it, you haven\u2019t had any response. And this has made you frustrated internally; therefore you haven\u2019t reached your goals, have been emotionally imbalanced and haven\u2019t been firm in your faith. This is why we are teaching you the correct way to present your sacrifice.
