{"id":3468,"date":"2015-10-09T20:14:43","date_gmt":"2015-10-09T20:14:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vivianefreitas.com\/en\/?p=3468"},"modified":"2015-10-13T20:16:28","modified_gmt":"2015-10-13T20:16:28","slug":"would-you-have-the-courage-of-jochebed-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vivianefreitas.com\/en\/would-you-have-the-courage-of-jochebed-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Would you have the courage of Jochebed?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Watching the soap opera <em>&#8220;The Ten Commandments&#8221;<\/em> of Rede Record, something very strong caught my attention, and God spoke to me then and there! That is why I would like to share it with all of you.<\/p>\n<p>Many were the times when I didn\u2019t trust my son to be able to do certain activities, or I was afraid to let him go and try to see how he would do, simply because I didn\u2019t want him to be disappointed, and also because I didn\u2019t like to let people see his limitations and &#8220;debauch&#8221; him. With that, without realizing it, I held Gabriel back, limiting him and making my, and not God&#8217;s, will be done in his life.<\/p>\n<p>But when I saw the scene of Jochebed putting her child in a basket in the streams of the Nile River, not thinking that he could flip around and drown, be swallowed by a crocodile, or even die of hunger, cold, and thirst, it\u2019s like He was telling me:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Would you be like her?
