The question of the day is as following: \u201cWhat makes the Word of God have no effect in your life?<\/em><\/p>\n This question is very interesting! Let us know why, yes?<\/p>\n Accompany me in the book of Matthew, chapter 15, verse 3<\/strong>:<\/p>\n He answered and said to them, \u201cWhy do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? For God commanded, saying, \u2018Honor your father and your mother\u2019; and, \u2018He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.\u2019 But you say, \u2018Whoever says to his father or mother, \u201cWhatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God\u201d\u2013 then he need not honor his father or mother. Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n What does transgression or to transgress mean?<\/strong> It is to pass a limit, to deviate from it, to abandon truth. A person that transgresses is someone who knows there is a limit, that they have to walk down a certain path, they know that there exists truth, but they \u201cescape it\u201d, they deviate from it.<\/p>\n Jesus asked the hypocrites, who had asked Him in regards to the disciples who had not washed their hands\u2026 It is interesting that every time that I ask you a question, I appeal to your intellect; it makes you think. What does this mean? That things appeal to your intellect, you don\u2019t use emotion, and that is exactly what the Lord Jesus did! Look:<\/p>\n \u201cWhy do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? For God commanded, saying, \u2018Honor your father and your mother\u2019; and, \u2018He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.\u2019 ” \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0(Matthews 15: 3-4)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n I am going to tell you something: God left us His Commandments in the time of Moses, and many know them; you who frequent a church, that are Christian, you know as well as I the commandments and are not attentive to them. Naturally, you are making your obligation with God a tradition. For example, I (Viviane) was born in the church and I know the traditions and ways for a long time.<\/p>\n Maybe you have been in the church for many years and you already have the costume of pronouncing the ten commandments, of citing a verse, of praying, of giving your tithe and your offerings, of participating in the services, of searching for God, and making comments. But what happens then? This ends up, for many people, being a tradition when you are not vigilant to the Law of God, to His Voice and His Word.<\/p>\n “For God commanded, saying, \u2018Honor your father and your mother\u2019 ” Do you what honor means? It is to respect, to revere. When I do this, do I talk back? No! Do I look with bad eyes? No! I simply accept what is being said and I am not going to impose my will, nor justify myself. That is reverence.<\/p>\n For example, God tells me things that I have to do, how to turn the other cheek and not respond: \u201cOh God\u2026 I am not going to turn the other cheek, because that person is wrong!\u201d If this exists from my part, what is going to happen with me? I know the Word of God and I deviate from it, I transgress a commandment, a law, an order, my obligation. I am disrespecting God! It\u2019s exactly the same thing when you do this with your father or mother, here on earth, that represent authority over you, just like God and the church. God represents my father and the church represents my mother.<\/p>\n These people who are not attentive to the Word of God, transgress commandments and obey traditions.<\/strong> They give their tithe, their offerings at church, they think that they are just because they pray; they know how to interpret the law, they speak of the Word of God, inclusively they speak about things they have already overcome in life, but they do not have any consideration for the Word of God. And the proof? Look at what Jesus says:<\/p>\n \u2018He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.\u2019 What is cursing?<\/strong> It is to speak badly of, to insult, to offend, to provoke. You who like to do exactly that, you who \u201cabuse\u201d your mother and father, you keep complaining about her, it doesn\u2019t matter how much of an unbeliever she is\u2026 you should honor them because it is a commandment of God. He didn\u2019t say: \u201cWhoever has a mother day that does not honor Me, you don\u2019t have the right to honor them.\u201d He didn\u2019t say that\u2026 He said this:<\/p>\n “Honor your father and your mother\u2019; and, \u2018He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.\u2019 But you say, \u2018Whoever says to his father or mother, \u201cWhatever profit you might have received from me\u2026” And you can tell me: \u201cBut I go to the service, I speak with her in this way because she doesn\u2019t understand me; she wants to impose her will on me and doesn\u2019t let me go to church!\u201d<\/em> You know that there is a way of speaking. If you respect her, have reverence, when you make any decision, you will not be disrespectful\u2026 because you first have respect for God. If I respect Him, who I don\u2019t see, then I will respect even more those who I see. Yes or no?<\/p>\n Be careful! There are many accompanying this post right now who have family members that are above you, or even in church, that do not honor God, or do not honor their mother (the church). They speak badly of the church, of God\u2026 be careful! Those \u201cpeople\u201d are bound to be “put to death\u201d. And if you were to read and go more in depth about honoring you father and mother, in the Old Testament, in the book of Numbers, you will notice that the son who was rebellious was stoned to death! That was the law back then\u2026 God does not like error and in the time of the Law, these were the attitudes taken, of stoning rebellious children, because imagine if the children in those days did not respect their parents. Imagine in the beginning of life\u2026 If He didn\u2019t make such a severe rule, or commandment, where would we be today? That is why there was that part where God made people fear Him and say: \u201cLook, don\u2019t do that, because there will be consequences!”<\/p>\n Many, because of \u201cgrace\u201d think the following: \u201cI can do that because I won\u2019t be stoned.\u201d<\/em> This law doesn\u2019t exist, but the Word of God remains. Today what He wants that you and I to do is to follow, and be attentive to His Word, to obey and not to live in tradition\u2026 To do things right and do other things wrong.<\/strong><\/p>\n Probably, cybernaut, you feel accused right now and are saying: \u201cBut I did so many bad things to my mother, to my father, and I didn\u2019t even know; I didn\u2019t see it that way.”<\/em> You made a mistake\u2026 but from now on, if you commit this mistake again, you will be transgressing the law, because now you are conscious of what is right. Maybe, you didn\u2019t have this consciousness, and no one ever taught you, but now be attentive to the Word of God (see how important it is to read the Bible), that you have this care, and this respect in knowing how He thinks, teaches and wants He wants you to act before these situations.<\/p>\n Cybernaut, you who are reading this post in church right now, I would like it if possible, that you participated and spoke to God about this.
