{"id":3375,"date":"2015-09-29T13:52:02","date_gmt":"2015-09-29T13:52:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vivianefreitas.com\/en\/?p=3375"},"modified":"2015-09-29T13:53:28","modified_gmt":"2015-09-29T13:53:28","slug":"false-sense-of-well-being","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vivianefreitas.com\/en\/false-sense-of-well-being\/","title":{"rendered":"False sense of well-being!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>This is a very serious problem!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Usually when a person is suffering so much inside, lives in anxieties, fears, insecurities, looking for a scapegoat, and speaking of the &#8220;emotional faith&#8221;, their refuge is &#8220;doing for God&#8221; and begins to occupy herself with things to do, but does not solve the problem that is &#8220;inside&#8221;. And over time, begins to justify herself by what she does, &#8220;Oh &#8230; I pray, I participate in the events for young people, I go to church, I invited a person to attend the meeting, I am a faithful tither, I help people. etc. &#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>But that pain, that problem, insists on staying inside of you.<\/strong><\/span> And time goes by, and for acting in a religious way you begin to be deceived by a sense of well being, for what you do and not for who you are and what you believe in!<\/p>\n<p>My dear, we can only give what we have, and if you hide behind religious habits, you will be frustrated, but <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">if you focus on your soul and never lose sight of the need of salvation<\/span>, you will always be looking to solve your inner conflicts with God, and not in hiding them from God!<\/p>\n<p>Note the words of the Lord Jesus:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.\u201d<br \/>\n(Matthew 23:28)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The Lord Jesus was talking to the Pharisees who fulfilled the laws, but their heart was far from Him!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s no use trying to prove to people that you are of God, for God knows and sees everything! Be sincere, expose your real condition and cry out for help!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8221; Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.&#8221;<br \/>\n(James 4: 8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>God gives us the opportunity to start over! So take the opportunity and start to draw close to Him right now<\/strong>, and when He comes before you, you\u2019ll have peace, certainty, strength, courage, and everything will be true in you and in your life!<\/p>\n<p>God bless you all and until next week!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>God gives us the opportunity to start over!
