Today is already the fifth day of the Fast and if you are really willing to do everything new in this Fast then you have to be willing to hear the truth which is like a two-edged sword that cuts and goes where no one can ever penetrate, which is the Word of God.<\/p>\n
The Word of God opens our eyes and our understanding when we accept it.<\/strong> If you\u2019re not searching to develop your relationship with God, then your words will not coincide with your attitudes.<\/p>\n Well, today we are going to breach the subject of: \u201cWhat makes the heart idolize?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Accompany in the reading in the book of Colossians 3: 5<\/strong>:<\/p>\n \u201cPut to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.<\/p>\n But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have takes off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.\u201d<\/p>\n (Colossians 3: 5-10)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Pay very close attention to Word of God: \u201cPut to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/em> You might say, \u201cOh, but isn\u2019t it God that has to do it?\u201d<\/em> NO!<\/strong> It is ou that have to put to death that earthly nature. And how? By not feeding it, or appreciating it, to stop liking and accepting your earthly nature!<\/p>\n When I accept one of these characteristics stated in the verse above, like prostitution, it shows an illicit sexual relationship… and this can exist even when in marriage. There are certain things that are prohibited; for example, anal sex. And oral sex is not suitable because it is not healthy.\u00a0And why does this not please God? Because it does not go according to what God created. He created the right way of having sexual relations.<\/p>\n Prostitution includes:<\/p>\n Who \u201cputs to death\u201d this earthly nature? It is you! It is the individual itself who practices these things.<\/p>\n Impurity<\/strong> – that refers to lack of purity, being sensual. For example, putting clothes to attract the attention of the person they like, or to show their body. This is not of God. You who use thongs, that is not appropriate. And it doesn\u2019t matter the type of clothes it is, be it white, black, blue\u2026 no matter the color. Why? Because your buttocks are going to call attention, they are going to \u201cwobble\u201d. And that makes other men look at you. It\u2019s going to give the incentive to look at your buttocks and this is very unsightly.<\/p>\n Lust<\/strong>– a sensuality that doesn\u2019t only pertain to clothes, but in your way of being, of walking, when you\u2019re swinging your hips just to grab some attention.<\/p>\n Evil desire<\/strong>– In the manner of thinking, feeling, and acting. When you desire something evil, it is referring to something that can destroy.<\/p>\n Greed<\/strong>– A person that is attached to money, that isn\u2019t generous, that is tight-fisted. And sometimes sin, because they have a very limited life financially. When they live with another person, for example, they can\u2019t share. They don\u2019t help, they want all eyes to look at them, they want others’ pity for the situation they are in and want help. But you have to do your part! The more they withhold, the more lacking they find themselves.<\/p>\n All the topics that we have spoken about above are idolatry!<\/p>\n Why?<\/p>\n Because they bow down to something that is not God. \u201c…for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.\u201d (Ephesians 5: 6)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Who are these sons of disobedience?<\/strong> And many think: \u201cAre you saying that God feels wrath?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Yes, He does!<\/strong><\/p>\n There are people that think God cannot feel or act upon wrath that only humans can feel it. But when you do something displeasing before God, His wrath descends, and the people around you.<\/p>\n \u201c…But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n When someone is a son of disobedience and practice those things mentioned above: prostitution, impurity, lascivious passion, evil desires, and greed\u2026 And they feel anger too, but not for something \u201cjust\u201d but because of they want things their \u201cway\u201d. They are indignant, evil, malicious. They don\u2019t want to pay the \u201cprice\u201d!<\/p>\n Sometimes, they are from the church, and just because of that, they don\u2019t want to sell or pay for the services that are being provided, saying: \u201cI am a member and you are also a member\u2026 so give it to me, because you are of God so you have to donate it\u2026”<\/p>\n My cybernaut friend you have to know following: Each person has their responsibilities, and you don\u2019t have the right to take advantage because another Christian works and has conditions, so they can facilitate things for you. It is not like this!<\/p>\n All these \u201clittle things\u201d that look \u201csilly,” all this is from the heart! “But now you must also rid yourselves\u2026”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Who has to rid themselves? Is it God?! Is it a pastor?! A wife?!<\/p>\n And who is practicing these acts?!<\/p>\n \u201c…of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other\u2026”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n There are many people that end up lying because they want to please others or create a \u201cgood\u201d environment. And why is this? Because they don\u2019t hate sin. And so they accept camouflaging, tricking, and showing things that they are not…<\/p>\n \u201c…since you have takes off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator…\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n My cybernaut friend, look at how the heart can idolize desires, ways, defenses, because when they are angry, upset, they have evil<\/strong>\u2026 Maybe because they eventually have been deceived, so they think that other people have the same behavior of those who deceived them. So, they don\u2019t trust in any man, in any friendship, because they carry the past inside them! They have to assume this before God and pour it out to Him!<\/p>\n That is why it is very important for you to be comfortable, so that you can be who you are before God. When you are with God, and want to speak with Him, distance yourself from the person next to you, so that you can kneel or put your head on the wall\u2026 but speak and reveal who you have been.<\/p>\n Help yourself, my cybernaut friend! It is you who had to put to death that old, earthly nature; and you have to hate your actions and stop nurturing bad and harmful thoughts; you are the one that has to look with good eyes.<\/strong><\/p>\n It is not God , nor the Holy Spirit, but it it is you, when we want it!<\/p>\n When I want to speak to God… \u00a0when I really\u00a0want something, I eat; when I want, I sleep; when I want, I work; \u00a0when I want, I do the right thing! You say it’s the devil, the past, or the all the other reasons behind facing all these problems… My cybernaut friend, problems everyone of us face, and these are great opportunities to have an experience with God. But that only happens when we give all of us, where we tell God everything that is inside of us.<\/p>\n Be wise and practice what you have heard here! Listen tot the audio.<\/p>\n Today is the 5th day, and ever since we started, there have been a lot of things taught that we have to put into practice, many things that you have learned and have already noticed the things that you need to change. So write down on a piece of paper, give it to God, and the more you speak with Him, the more you will empty yourself. But the more you guard, the more you will harm yourself, and you will even be with doubt, because you haven\u2019t done what needed to be done.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t give up on yourself!<\/strong><\/p>\n You can be at the bottom of the pit, full of problems, sins, and horrible mistakes. But if you are sincere and hate all of them, then put to death that nature. Do it now! Go baptize yourself, and if you see that you are not even liberated yet, then participate in the services on Fridays, the whole day, or Sunday afternoon\u2026 participate in the church meetings. Do your part, because these 21 days are to resolve your problems, and resolve all of them! Rip away all that is keeping you in doubt, weak, insecure, fearful; take them out because these things are not helping you, but are making you more miserable!<\/p>\n Value your soul and God will do the impossible; He is going to make you be born of Him, but for this to happen, you have to assume your condition.<\/p>\n A big hug for you all.
