{"id":3286,"date":"2015-09-22T08:00:42","date_gmt":"2015-09-22T08:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vivianefreitas.com\/en\/?p=3286"},"modified":"2015-09-22T07:56:35","modified_gmt":"2015-09-22T07:56:35","slug":"negative-friendships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vivianefreitas.com\/en\/negative-friendships\/","title":{"rendered":"Negative friendships!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are used to uttering the following saying: <strong><em>&#8220;Tell me whom you walk with, and I will tell you who you are!&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a reality, because many young people think, <em>&#8220;I am around them, but I don\u2019t do what they do!&#8221;<\/em> It may be that you don\u2019t do it for now, but you support what they do, or you aren\u2019t bothered with their mistakes, because you enjoy it! <strong>It&#8217;s just a matter of time before you have the same attitudes!<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?\u201d \u00a0(Amos 3: 3)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>If you want to be a testimony of the Lord here on Earth and have a full and blessed life\u2014you have to pay the price, that is, you have to sacrifice!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing that comes from God comes with ease! God teaches us that by faith we conquer, but He never said it was going to be easy! It requires of us to deny ourselves, deny our own will, and if friendships have influenced you in a negative way, you also need to sacrifice them! It&#8217;s no use just having the desire\u2014you have to practice it!<\/p>\n<p><em>What\u2019s it worth saying you have faith, but you don\u2019t take the attitudes that your faith requires you?!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>My friend think, God doesn\u2019t want us to suffer in the future, that\u2019s why He left us all the teachings so that if we obey, we will be complete and saved! Do not allow yourself to be carried away by emotions and attractions, have a goal!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;\u2026Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.\u201d \u00a0(James 4: 4)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Try to be friends with people who have something positive to pass on to you, choose your friends!<\/p>\n<p>Be a friend of God and an enemy of the world!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Understand, you are either God&#8217;s friend or the world\u2019s friend!
