In today\u2019s assistants post, I would like to guide you to think about a topic that we all lived this past Sunday, and by the way, I hope that you lived that same thought. Well, to enter into this topic, I would like to ask you the following question: Why is it that you have the Holy Spirit?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Over the years, unfortunately, many divert from the main focus and let themselves be carried away by their own thoughts, which reveal personal interests and worldly satisfaction, leaving aside the real and true purpose for which they were called.<\/p>\n

Here is the answer to the question asked:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
\nTo proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn,
\nTo console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.\u201d
\nIsaiah 61: 1-3<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Observe the mission of those who have the Spirit of God upon them, which is not only for their own benefit, but purposely to:<\/p>\n

PREACH<\/strong> good tidings to the poor;
\nHEAL<\/strong> the brokenhearted;
\nPROCLAIM<\/strong> liberty to the captives;
\nOPENING<\/strong> of the prison to those who are bound;
\nPROCLAIM<\/strong> the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God;
\nCOMFORT<\/strong> all who mourn;
\nCONSOLE<\/strong> those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty of ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;<\/p>\n

I highlighted in large font the first words so that you understand that the Holy Spirit is ACTION<\/em><\/strong>! He is not upon us for us to be just standing in uniform to “parade” across the salon, or waiting for the people to come to us. No! On the contrary, we are the watchmen that must go to the broken, the captives, those who are bound, who mourn, in short, to those who are in darkness … this is the true mission of the assistant!<\/p>\n

I would like for you to be honest with yourself: have you truly and in fact fulfilled this mission? Or do you recognize that you are far from this reality for which you are being held responsible?<\/p>\n
