This week, when talking to a person on the street about faith, a question came to mind: “How can I lead a person to believe in God?”. <\/p>
\nAnd I got an answer that makes a lot of sense: “I can\u2019t. But it is giving that we receive! ”
\n
\nAnd that’s what drives us day by day: the faith that is in our giving, our prayer, perseverance, will make all the difference when we are not able to convince someone. Because not even God himself obligates us to do something, respecting our free will. It’s every man, giving himself the chance to obtain a real life transformation, which will make his own decisions.<\/p>\n
Like so, parents can not force their children after a certain age\u2014the age of “reasoning”\u2014to accept their guidance and teachings, but the giving was being made along the way, and will continue to be so through faith, believing that God will do what only He can do.<\/p>\n
God: The essence of “Giving”<\/p>\n
\u201cFor God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.\u201d John 3:16<\/p>\n
He gave! He was the greatest example of Giving. If He had not given, I would never have the right to freely give myself, to sacrifice…<\/p>\n
Regardless of who would come to accept Him, He did not fail to give Himself!<\/p>\n
Who loves\u2014gives. God is the greatest proof of that. And who loves, doesn\u2019t expect to receive anything in return, but keeps on giving, regardless of the circumstances.<\/p>\n
Who is not, gets tired of doing good; who does not have, runs out when giving. But who is, and has, renews themselves, for it is giving that we receive!<\/p>\n
Give what? The Most Important!<\/p>\n
That is why there are parents who despite all the storms of life, and everything that their children have made them suffer, do not give up, but are still willing to give their life, to fight in relation to their children, and for that which is most important: the salvation of their souls. Because this is the essence, once everything passes, and barely that which is eternal will be endured, and not the external, such as the financial, sentimental, physical life…<\/p>\n
And when we truly give, we confide that this giving, in due time, will bare its respective fruits. Therefore, even under the circumstances, in the difficult moments and apparent “hardheadedness” of your children…. parents do not give up! Because they are counting on you to do the “work”\u2014until the end. And then yes, it will be complete! And I got an answer that makes a lot of sense: “I can\u2019t. But it is giving that we receive!
