It should have been like that, but that didn\u2019t happen with me.<\/p>
\n
\nI gave life to my son, I had him through a traumatic birth, I nursed and cared for him… In my point of view, being a good mother meant not letting my son lack anything. Him being well fed, clean and tidy was a sign that I was a good mother, and that always happened.<\/p>\n

Shortly after his birth, I was in the same rhythm of commitments and work; the busy life conditioned me to do everything automatically. But how could I now have a child, who depended on me, and have nothing change?<\/p>\n

Do you know what happened? At 4 years of age my son spoke very few words, he did not answer me, he did not obey me, he was scared of the bathroom and did not poop. So then, I had to stop! He needed me, he needed a mother who would sacrifice her life and put him as a priority, who had special eyes towards him, who would give him attention and who would respect him as a person; my friend, this is what it means to be a mother and I didn\u2019t know that!<\/p>\n

To learn how to be a mother, I had to submit myself to the will and the voice of God.<\/p>\n

And so it was, a long and beautiful journey, in which I\u2019m still in and will be sharing with you. I invite you to put yourself, with me, in the position of an apprentice and together we will learn how to be better mothers for our children and above all to glorify our God.
\nSo then, shall we do that?<\/p>\n

I believe that God expects more of us and of our children too.<\/p>\n
