\nHow about when parents, due to the lack of knowledge, fail to fulfill their role?

\nI remember when government authorities, parents, teachers, law enforcement, etc., served as true references. They seemed untouchable and perfect in the eyes of an innocent child. In fact, back then you wouldn’t see that much corruption like you do today, which is multiplying greatly each day. There was security, untainted care that protected certain values that we no longer see today.

\nBut not everything is based on that. Even though someone might have the best of intentions that doesn\u2019t make them complete.

\n\u201cMy people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.\u201d<\/em> \u00a0(Hosea 4:6)

\nBetrayal, murder, stealing, prostitution, and adultery should not be linked only to \u201cgrotesque sins\u201d, but they are also a true reflection of who we are, with serious consequences for those we love.

\nAnd don\u2019t think that when parents curse their children through thoughtless words and plague them without realizing it, just because they acted on anger and by impulse is any less dangerous. How so? When you say, \u201cYou’ll never amount to anything.\u201d\u00a0 \u201cYou’ll be miserable like your father…\u201d; \u201cIf you leave this house, you’re going to suffer…\u201d

\nYou might say, but, Andreia, just with one word? Yes my friend! One word can influence in such a way that it can build or destroy kingdoms, make or break alliances. Now imagine the influence your words have on someone who is empty inside and doesn\u2019t have God\u2019s protection. \u00a0That\u2019s why it\u2019s important for you as a parent to pay close attention, not only to the grotesque mistakes, which without a doubt leave scars, but also like we mentioned in a previous post with simple words that can cause terrible damage.<\/p>\n

\nIf you are a victim of what we mentioned, or the author of it, then know that good intentions don\u2019t prevent us from making mistakes. And because of lack of knowledge of the Word of God, and its practice, people tend to make mistakes repeatedly, in which only cause them harm.

\n– If you attend the Church, examine your words and actions, to see if they have been in agreement with God’s Word;
\n\u00a0
\n– If you detect a root of bitterness, even if it seems insignificant, get rid of it by using your faith. If you feel the need, speak to a man or woman of God;
\n\u00a0
\nIf you don\u2019t attend the Church, but realize that there is an oppressive force that impels you to have reactions that you can\u2019t control then it\u2019s time to take action against everything that tries to dominate you.
