Hello to all cybernauts. Every week we are here to bless you. <\/p>
\nAnd I have the authority to bless, because not only do I speak, but live a genuine, rational faith. And to live it, it is an exercise … and exercising makes you “sweat” your shirt, your forehead … and there really has to be a goal in order to do the exercise of faith.
\n\u00a0
\nToday we will address how a man of God blesses.
\n\u00a0
\nIf you have followed the blog these days when we have talked about Elijah, you\u2019ve heard about how he challenged King Ahab. You should follow it, if you have not heard it yet, from the first day that we talked about Elijah.
\n\u00a0
\n

\u201cAnd Elijah said to her, \u201cDo not fear; go\u00a0and\u00a0do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring\u00a0it\u00a0to me; and afterward make\u00a0some\u00a0for yourself and your son.\u00a0For thus says the\u00a0Lord\u00a0God of Israel: \u2018The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the\u00a0Lord\u00a0sends rain on the earth.\u2019\u201d So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for\u00a0many\u00a0days.\u00a0The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0which He spoke by Elijah.\u201d (I Kings 17: 13-16).<\/blockquote>

\nWho was Elijah talking to? To the widow through whom God said He would sustain him and even gave orders to him to linger beside her. You know what this means? To linger in one place and be sustained by a lady with a child who is needy?!
\n\u00a0
\nGod took Elijah out of where he was, to be sustained by crows, with bread and meat, day and night, bringing him to the widow, she herself, who was active, and challenging her!
\nLike in the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God you often hear the word challenge. And why? Because that is how you see it in the Bible, both the Old and the New Testament.
\n\u00a0
\nNow Elijah was going towards the widow … And now you can see what a beautiful thing! How we can remain indifferent to the true events, the testimony of Elijah, his boldness! God sent him to bless that widow.
\n\u00a0
\nGod sends His servant to the one that is active, and not to the one who stays sitting, crying, who stops doing all her work or stops resolving her issues, in order to stay muttering, living her limitations, her dramas and problems … I know what this is! I’m living this difficult phase, but it is not to consume me or stop me. On the contrary, it is to bring into existence what does not exist and even to bless you! I’m telling you what God has spoken to me, and what He will do in your life, but you have to react; you can\u2019t remain stagnant. Just as the man of God had to react and oppose the feeling of pity; or do you think that a man of God, who lives a righteous life, who wants justice on earth, sees a person living in suffering because of a king who did everything wrong … do you believe that man would not be outraged by the situation and moved in his feelings, to see a woman and her son with the last handful of flour to eat and die?!
\n\u00a0
\nBut look at what God did: He sent him, not for him to feel sorry for the widow, but to bless her! To use faith.
\n\u00a0
\nAnd that is what has to be done! Get up from that prostration and wipe those tears. Does it hurt? Are you living difficult situations? “Swallow” cybernaut friend, and act your faith. Do not live by feelings. If crying resolved something, you would no longer be suffering because your tears would have already resolved your situation. But the pity and the commotion solved nothing. So then, it is time to react, challenge yourself and face the problems that you are experiencing, as it happened with Elijah, who made the challenge.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut make me a small cake from it first, and bring\u00a0it\u00a0to me; and afterward make\u00a0some\u00a0for yourself and your son.<\/p>\n

Elijah didn\u2019t say: “make some for your child, poor thing, I am thy servant; I will first serve you ma\u2019am and then do some for me … \u201c He did not say this, but said the opposite!
\n\u00a0
\nAnd because there was obedience, “… the bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry…\u201d And the same happens with you when there is obedience, when you risk your life and confront your feelings. Because you believe! It’s not just a verbal belief, but in practice, with surrendering, with devotion, with all that you are!
\n\u00a0
\nThis is the strength that pleases God and not the times when you say that you will do something, and do nothing, because you did not go against your feelings and did not hate what makes you weak! When you put your strength into it, it is because you believe! Because the joy of the Lord is our strength.
