\u201cThen Mary said to the angel, \u2018How can this be, since I do not know a man?\u2019 And the angel answered and said to her, \u2018The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.\u2019\u201d <\/i>(Luke 1:34,35)<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

Every time we are caught by surprise, we ask questions\u2026<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

And it\u2019s in moments like this that we show our faith.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

When we don\u2019t have control of a situation, we doubt and we ask questions; we want to feel secure, we want an answer, a direction. <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

\u201cThe<\/i>Holy Spirit will come upon you…\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

It\u2019s when we are faced with an unexpected situation that we have to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us; but if we decide to take control, He will not come upon us\u2026<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

Do you know those moments when you don\u2019t know what to do or what\u2019s going to happen?<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

\u201c\u2026 and the power of the Highest will overshadow you.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

When we depend on God, His Spirit comes upon us and overshadows us, giving us His peace.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

Mary drew God\u2019s attention, and so\u2026 the unexpected happened.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

If we were in her shoes, we would probably worry, be anxious or complain\u2026 but this is exactly how we miss many opportunities.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

We should watch our attitudes when faced with adverse situations. This is what watching is all about: to examine our reactions to circumstances.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

When we have a dream, we must chase it. We should not be prey, but hunters.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

I\u2019d like you to understand the following: unexpected situations will arise, which will be difficult to deal with. And how will you react?<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

This is when your faith will be revealed\u2026 Then you will know if you depend on God and your faith is based upon the rock; you will know whether you live by emotion or by intelligent faith! Examine yourself and be watchful.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

If I depend on God and my faith is strong, He will come upon me when unexpected situations occur.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

I am strong when I trust and give my life to Him; when I am not worried or anxious. Then, the Holy Spirit will come upon me and overwhelm me.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

God is just waiting for an opportunity, and this can be found in the difficulties, in the challenges\u2026<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

You may have been called by Him, but it\u2019s when you face adversities that you make yourself chosen by Him!<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

Don\u2019t wait on anyone\u2026 You have to do it yourself!<\/span><\/div>\n
