While not all of us are parents, we are all children.<\/p>
\nAnd in both cases there is a common concern: the welfare and happiness of those we love most.
\nHealth, prosperity and a blessed sentimental life are virtues we long to see in the possession of each of our loved ones. But, are our goals and aspirations agreeing with God’s priorities? <\/p>\n

It is not uncommon to hear people say: ” My husband doesn\u2019t have God, he doesn\u2019t attend church but he is a great person! “; ” I have a great son who doesn\u2019t give me too much work and he is completing his education. But he wants nothing to do with God.” “I’ll marry him … he doesn\u2019t profess any faith but he loves me and is a great person. After, with my example, he will come. ”
\nNotice in the examples above what priorities take precedence… <\/p>\n

Maybe even in church, their most urgent requests are related to the body, satisfied through their physical well -being and material goods. But where is the concern with the spirit, being it the only channel of communication with God? <\/p>\n

Does she revolt more for her son not being saved or when he does not reach the desired promotion or intended course of study? Is her “pain ” due to the uncertainty of his salvation or because she doesn\u2019t have his attention?
\nOnly when we take care of our soul\u2019s eternity, we care the same way for it for those we love most. <\/p>\n

Our priority will define who we are, not for 20, 30, 50 or 100 years, but for all eternity. <\/p>\n

So if you have something to be “concerned” about, that it may be to please God above all things, including when it has to do with your family. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo do not worry, saying, \u2018What shall we eat?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we drink?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we wear?\u2019\u00a0\u00a0For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.\u00a0But seek first his kingdom\u00a0and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.\u201d<\/em> (Mt. 6: 31-33).<\/p>\n<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
