Hello everyone, it is great to be here, and to get to know you through each of your comments. <\/p>
\n<\/p>\n

“Then the Jews said to Him, \u201cNow we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, \u2018If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.\u2019 Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?\u201d Jesus answered, \u201cIf I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, \u2018I do not know Him,\u2019 I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word.\u201d (John 8:52-55)\u00a0<\/blockquote>\n

Jesus was not well accepted among the Jews. Often, you are among a group of friends, at work, at church, and you are looking for everyone\u2019s approval. You seek approval from the pastor, the pastor’s wife, an assistant, who is most active or popular, from the youth, which the pastor gives more attention to. What happens when you do this? Your will, ego, feels rejected and inferior, you reveal an inner struggle based on your feelings. Your desire is to stay away, a far, and quiet because you are not as popular or accepted as the other person you admire. <\/p>\n

\u00a0
\nLet us look at the Lord Jesus\u2019 actions. He is admirable! He is wonderful, perfect, and has a noble spirit!
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?\u201d<\/em> This is the question I want to draw your attention to: Who blesses you, gives you success, and makes you popular? Who makes you feel loved, is it someone who has something to offer you? Who allows you to be noble?
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

We sometimes seek the glory that comes from people, the world, and do not even notice that this is the glory we are seeking. Remember when the Lord Jesus was in the wilderness and the devil said to him that if He would bow down and worship him, he would give him the glory of the world?<\/p>\n

The \u201clight\u201d of this world is appealing, but it only offers everything that is wrong. And the Lord Jesus, of course, said no. He said He would only honor the Father. He was never going to accept the glory that the devil offered Him. <\/p>\n

What does the devil offer? He offers insecurity when you feel you are not requested among others, when you are not popular, or feel rejected. In fact, you might not realize it, but you are seeking your own glory. <\/p>\n

“If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me…”<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0
\nYou must not seek honor from anyone, only the one that comes from God, because it is permanent and gives you pleasure. Until now the honor you seek makes you feel inferior and rejected. And when you impose your will you are misunderstood and do not solve anything. It is like in an argument: The more you feel you are right, the more you want to impose your reason. The more you want to seek your glory and the more you want to have other people\u2019s approval. <\/p>\n

\nHowever when you are quiet, even though you are arguing with someone you present a noble spirit, being one with God. You act differently, rationally, and that will make the other person think. <\/p>\n

Instead of imposing your ideas, your conduct and life will make the other person think and be “tormented when they recognize they are wrong. <\/p>\n

\n“Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, \u2018I do not know Him,\u2019 I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word.”<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

We get to know God when we seek the honor that comes from Him, and when we honor Him. Also when we serve Him and recognize His “royalty”; the God that He is, but when we do not see Him for who He is we are not trying to serve Him. We are only trying to serve ourselves. There is a big difference!
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

I want you to evaluate yourself whenever you feel inferior, rejected, so you do not suffer because of this! Do not suffer because of anyone else suffer because you are rejecting the Lord Jesus. This is the only reason we should suffer, not because we have not received other people\u2019s approval. <\/p>\n
