\u201cThen Jesus said to them again, \u201cI am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come.\u201d So the Jews said, \u201cWill He kill Himself, because He says, \u2018Where I go you cannot come\u2019?\u201d And He said to them, \u201cYou are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” (Jo.8: 21-23) <\/p>

If you read Wednesday\u2019s post you will remember that the Jews retorted and questioned the Words of the Lord Jesus because He always spoke of the Father. But they were not willing hear or learn. <\/p>\n
To believe in God is not only a firm thought, but also the act of submitting to Him. <\/p>\n
There are people who have been in the Church for a long time and are baptized with the Holy Spirit, but continue to insist on doing their will. They do not want to be sensitive to His voice. They provoke God by asking, “Why this, why that; why this injustice? Why am I misunderstood? … ” With so many questions they are questioning God Himself! <\/p>\n
See when you are distant from God you are not sensitive to His voice and are not able to learn from Him. You cannot understand His will even if He is talking to you directly. Just like the Lord Jesus was speaking to the Jews, but they did not understand! <\/p>\n
When you do not understand what God says it is because you do not have an intimate relationship with Him! You do not make an effort to know Him. <\/p>\n
Even though I’m baptized with the Holy Spirit, I can choose not to be sensitive to His voice. I am the one who decides not to care about what God wants of me, making my will prevail. <\/p>\n
“But, He asks for too much!” <\/em><\/p>\n No He does not! What He asks of us is not too much, it is something we need to surrender, uproot, like selfishness, pride, etc. <\/p>\n We are born with many flaws and mistakes, but when we have an encounter with God we recognize that our will is no good. Rather, it leads us to corruption and destroys us. It is what makes us into difficult people to deal with. <\/p>\n When I submit to God, then I believe, surrender, and dive into His Word. <\/p>\n When I was in the Temple of Solomon, I heard the voice of God so clearly. I felt so insignificant … I saw nothing of what I\u2019ve done or had happened, but who I was! I felt as if I was before the throne of God, there in heaven … It is hard to explain in words, but I saw His love and how I need to act, practice His Word, be sensitive to His voice and depend on Him. <\/p>\n I’m not perfect, I have many mistakes, but what makes me be close to Him is when I recognize His love for me. When I see how glorious and majestic He is. I want to give Him my best not as an obligation or religious act, but because it is my pleasure! <\/p>\n When we love someone, we want to please them. We do not want to provoke their anger or upset them, we just want to offer them our best. <\/p>\n The same is with God: When you think the things of God are difficult, or consider “boring” the mere fact that you have to surrender and submit, it shows that you do not love Him. <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n If you are in the Church, with or without the Holy Spirit, but are not sensitive and submit to the voice of God you will die with your errors. You will perish with your flaws and not be saved from them because you did not believe in Him, in Whom He is… <\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0
\nSometimes you go to church as a religious duty and not to be sensitive to God’s voice. And who is losing out is you because you only fulfilled an obligation and a ritual, but was not sensitive to His voice. <\/p>\n
\nGod wants your all, because He gave His all for us. <\/p>\n
\nIn the verses we have read we can see how we are full of flaws and need to depend on Him. If, with the Holy Spirit we have to be vigilant to overcome barriers, imagine without Him. You should seek Him not because I say so, but there must be this thirst inside of you to be righteous before Him. When this happens you do your best and surrenders completely. <\/p>\n
