“Nobody believes in me.” “They only see me as a little girl who knows nothing about life and who doesn\u2019t know what she wants.” “I\u2019m only seen as a child!” <\/p>\n
If you ever had thoughts like these you know how painful it is when no one believes in you. You feel alone, unworthy, ignored, and as if you are INVISIBLE to this world.
\n
\nNo one knows the pain we feel, and it seems like they don\u2019t care. Even if we make an effort to change, it seems like no one appreciates it. <\/p>\n
And so, in solitude (although often around people) we think: “Is it true? Am I really useless? Am I not worth anything and am I destined to be a nobody?” <\/p>\n
Just like you and me, there was a young man who went through the very same thing. Where nobody thought he was worth anything. At home, he did the smallest jobs and wasn\u2019t acknowledged at all in anything. <\/p>\n
It didn\u2019t matter if he applied himself or not, no one was watching, or saw. All his efforts and commitment was ignored. He was considered a “nobody”!
\nNobody believed he would amount to anything. <\/p>\n
But one day, he received an unexpected visit…
\nSomeone who made ??a point to acknowledge his presence, who valued him and that, in the midst of all those who didn\u2019t believe in him, anointed him king of Israel. I’m talking about King David, who until today is known as the greatest king of Israel. <\/p>\n
But wait! How does a young man, who is considered a nobody suddenly, be anointed king? <\/p>\n
Here lays the difference of an overcomer: Even though everyone saw him as just a child, someone who knows nothing, but inside, he knew exactly what he wanted.
\nHe didn\u2019t want to be just one more in a crowd, he wanted to honor his word and commitment. He might\u2019ve been small on the outside, but great on the inside. <\/p>\n
His responsibility was to take care of his father’s sheep, and so he honored that commitment, he gave his life for those sheep (literally). <\/p>\n
Maybe no one sees what’s inside of us, but God does! He observes us, and in the small details we define our future. <\/p>\n
“- You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.\u201d
\nBut David said to Saul, \u201cYour servant used to keep his father\u2019s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.\u201d Moreover David said, \u201cThe Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.\u201d (I Samuel 17:33-36) <\/blockquote>\nDavid chose to be different! He could\u2019ve believed in the words of defeat; he could have accepted when they said he was an inexperienced young man without any abilities, but he didn\u2019t! He decided that he wouldn\u2019t be just one in a coward, act like a child, or be annulled! He decided he would be different. <\/p>\n
The words you hear or attitudes you receive that imply that you have no value, can either put you down and make you defeated or create a revolt inside of you that can give you strength to be different! It\u2019s your choice. <\/p>\n
What voices have you been listening to? What you hear or see will define your future, or is it what you BELIEVE that will define your future? <\/p>\n
Maybe you don\u2019t even see your potential, but you can be sure that God does! He knows you very well, He believes in you!<\/p>\n<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
